The Eurovision week is here and right after seeing the rehearsals, we wanted to take one final look at the betting odds to see if there have been any changes in the Top 37 list since our last video on the subject. Without much ado, let’s move on to our list.
37- was 36- Romania – Theodor Andrei – D.G.T. (Off and On) Just a little note: We will be commenting on the songs if there is a significant change of the songs’ rankings compared to our previous video.
36- was 35- Latvia – Sudden Lights – Aijā
35- was 33- San Marino – Piqued Jacks – Like An Animal
34- was 37- Albania – Albina & Familja Kelmendi – Duje Albania has moved up on the list, but their chances of making it to the final is still low.
33- was 32- Azerbaijan – TuralTuranX – Tell Me More
32- was 34- Malta – The Busker – Dance (Our Own Party)
31- was 30- Greece – Victor Vernicos – What They Say
30- was 29- Denmark – Reiley – Breaking My Heart
29- was 25- Iceland – Diljá – Power Iceland keeps moving down in the odds and we agree with the bookmakers here. We didn’t find their rehearsal footage all that impressive.
28- was 31- Belgium Gustaph – Because of You
27- was 28- Lithuania – Monika Linkytė – Stay
26- was 22- Estonia – Alika – Bridges Estonia is another country moving in the wrong direction. We like what we have seen from Alika, so we obviously don’t agree with this ranking.
25- was 26- Portugal – Mimicat – Ai Coração
24- was 24- Poland – Blanka – Solo
23- was 15- Georgia – Iru – Echo This is probably the most shocking change on the list. There was no reason for Iru to drop 8 places. On the contrary, after her rehearsal performances, she should have been teleported into the top 10 of the list.
22- was 23- Cyprus – Andrew Lambrou – Break a Broken Heart
21- was 27- Ireland – Wild Youth – We Are One What a jump from Ireland. We absolutely loved the rehearsal footage we saw, so it’s not surprising for us. But they are still in trouble because the difficulty level of the first semifinal is insane.
20- was 19- Netherlands – Nicolai & Cooper – Burning Daylight
19- was 18- Moldova – Pasha Parfeni – Soarele și Luna
18- was 21- Slovenia – Joker Out – Carpe Diem
17- was 14- Serbia – Luke Black – Samo mi se spava After seeing his rehearsal performance, we find it silly that Luke Black is moving down on this list.
16- was 17- Croatia – Let 3 – Mama ŠČ!
15- was 20- Germany – Lord Of The Lost – Blood & Glitter Germany has moved up 5 places since our last video. This is a bit higher than where we would have ranked this song.
14- was 13- Switzerland – Remo Forrer – Watergun
13- was 16- Australia – Voyager – Promise We are happy to see Australia going up in the odds as this is one of our favourite songs.
12- was 9- Czechia – Vesna – My Sister’s Crown Czechia continues their free fall. Remember they were in the Top 5 at some point.
11- was 12- Armenia – Brunette – Future Lover
10- was 10- United Kingdom – Mae Muller – I Wrote A Song The United Kingdom had technical issues, and they didn’t make their rehearsal clip public. We are not sure if this is a sign of trouble. They are going to need an exceptional live performance to stay within the Top 10.
9- was 8- Austria – Teya & Salena – Who The Hell Is Edgar?
8- was 11- Italy – Marco Mengoni – Due vite Italy is up yet again. Now, this is more like it.
7- was 6- Israel – Noa Kirel – Unicorn Despite some flashy rehearsal footage, Israel is not one of the bookies’ biggest favourites.
6- was 5- Norway – Alessandra – Queen of Kings
5- was 4- Spain – Blanca Paloma – Eaea
4- was 3- Ukraine – Tvorchi – Heart of Steel This is the only song within the Top 5 that has no shot at winning the competition. A bit late, but bookmakers are finally starting to realize that.
3- was 7- France – La Zarra – Évidemment France had a meteoric rise to number 3 spot. They were way behind just a few weeks ago. Apparently we were not the only ones impressed with their rehearsal clip.
2- was 2 – Finland – Käärijä – Cha Cha Cha Eurovision week came too soon for this guy. The way his popularity was growing in the last few weeks, it seemed it was only a matter of time for him to reach the number one spot.
1- was 1 – Sweden – Loreen – Tattoo Stay tuned for our upcoming videos, where we will bring you the best fan made Eurovision content.
Changes in the Odds Before Semifinals – Top 37 with Comments
